A lovely warm day before the weather turned the next day, the final walk to this camp spot was characterised by an increasingly desperate search for a source of water. Most of the streams had dried up and I had to descend quite steeply off he side of the hill to find a muddy puddle. It was worth it though, as I got a great view of the Beacons from here, a nice sunset, an inversion over Talybont the next morning. This was also the night of the mysterious dancing light that I though was someone coming to get me, but turned out to be the other side of the Pontsticil Reservoir.
