We’d had a slow and leisurely day, but a fun one as Cath fell into a bog on the way to Rossett Pike and then took a wallow in Angle Tarn to wash the slime off. In our quest for a pitch by the tarn in which we looked at and started pitching on the little island before deciding otherwise, somehow we managed to make Cath fall in again with much hilarity (well on my part at least). we found a more sensible spot by the side of the tarn. Generally murky and misty, the photo shows the camp at its best point. This one will need to be done again in more inspiring conditions.
